How do you handle your fixed income portion of investment?

What kind of bonds, bond fund?
CD?
CD laddering?
Money Market?
High yield Savings?

I have some I-bond, some municipal bond funds.
I am doing CD laddering, not doing a very good job of it when CDs renewed before I got a chance to move it.
I have Money market account, and checking account.
