[考虑到星光想知道我们重游法国
第一次到法国旅游是2001年九月下旬，那是从英国伦敦坐高速火车（EuroStar）过去的，只在巴黎游玩了3天。那时刚刚发生了9-11事件，游客很少，所有的旅游景点都不用排队。卢浮宫里蒙娜丽莎的画像前空空无人，凡尔赛宫进门也不用排队，更不用说其它景点了，所以我们观景的效率特别的高。那时候儿子近13岁，女儿7岁。有时女儿累了走不动路，我就背着她走。 转眼12年过去了，儿子早就读完大学，在纽约工作已经3年了，女儿也读完1年大学了。这期间我们也游玩了很多欧洲国家，所以今年只好全家重游法国了。 这次与上一次最大的区别有几点：一是我们在法国共有9天的时间，要多看一点，细看一点。二是整个行程是由儿子和女儿俩共同制定的，包括定机票、旅馆、租车、游轮票等等。只要他们高兴，LD和我也就高兴。 儿子直接从纽约飞到巴黎，LD和女儿乘同一班机，我乘另一家航空公司的班机分别在两个小时内全部抵达巴黎机场。我和儿子早到，办好出租车的手续，等LD和女儿一到就开车上路。 下面就是儿子女儿共同制定的行程计划： FRANCE ITINERARY AMBOISE (8/4) · Depart Paris at 2:30 PM · Drive to Chateau de Chaumont-sur-Loire · Dinner at La Reserve (8 minutes from hotel, next to Loire River) · Walk along Loire River
AMBOISE – NORMANDY (8/5) · Check out of Villa Bellagio Amboise · Drive to Chenonceaux o At 9 AM, 60 – 80 minutes to tour the chateau
o Explore the gardens 20-30 minutes · Lunch at Auberge du Cheval Rouge (1 mile away from chateau, book ahead): 11 AM to 12 PM · Drive to Mont Saint-Michel (arrive near 3:30 PM) o Stroll around Mont St-Michel
o Hike to Abbey of Mont St-Michel (20 min from Bay): 1.25 – 2 hours to tour whole area, finish around 5:30 PM · Early dinner at La Sirene Creperie (right out of the Abbey): 5:30 to 6:30 PM · Drive to Bayeux, check into hotel: arrive near 8 PM · Late dinner at La Rapiere BAYEUX – ROUEN (8/6) · Morning o Check out of hotel at 9:40 AM o Drive 20 minutes to the cliffs above Arromanches, see movie at Arromanches 360 Theater o Drive quarter mile to town, visit Port Winston and D-Day Landing Museum o Grab lunch to go (or eat early lunch) at Le Pappagall since there aren’t any restaurants near the sites we’ll see later on o Drive to Omaha Beach (30 minutes from restaurant) · Afternoon/Evening o Visit American Cemetery (1.5 hours)
o Walk on beach at Vierville-sur-Mer o Pointe du Hoc Ranger Monument (free, 20 minutes from American cemeteries) o Utah Beach Landing Museum (7.5 euros, “best museum on the D-Day beaches,” closes at 7 pm),
o Eat dinner at the museum’s restaurant o *Visit and explore Ste-Mere Eglise o *German Military Cemetery (free, closes at 7 pm) · Drive to Suite Novotel Rouen, around 2 hours · If hungry, late dinner at L’Enfant Terrible (6 minutes from hotel) ROUEN – GIVERNY – PARIS (8/7) · Check out of hotel at 10 AM · Begin Rick Steve’s self-guided walk (1.5 – 2 hours), park car at/near Place du Vieux Marche (parking garage available) o Visit Joan of Arc Church (5 min from hotel, free, opens at 10 AM) o Walk from Rue du Gros Horloge to Notre-Dame Cathedral o Walk 4 blocks west to Plague Cemetary, loop to Church of St. Ouen, return along Rues de l’Hospital and Ganterie o End at Museum of Fine Arts · Lunch at L’Enfant Terrible (if we hadn’t already tried it out) or Creperie le St. Romain or Dame Cakes: 12 PM to 1 PM · Drive to Giverny, around 1 hour, arrive around 2 PM o Visit Monet’s Garden and House (9 euro, buy tickets online) o Walk along the Rue Claude Monet to see rest of sights and shops o Potential snack/late-lunch/early-dinner location: cafe/restaurant across from Monet’s home · Drive to Paris, around 1 hour PARIS DAY 1 (8/8) · Morning o Historic Paris Walk · Afternoon
