I don't see any problem with NPR's decision. What he said may be a true personal feeling, but, it is not one that should be magnified in the media.

你或许永远无法判断什么是truth, 那是因人而异见仁见智的主观判断，即使是基于对同样facts的观察也left to 个体的诠释空间。历史上，地球是否绕着太阳转，地球是否是宇宙中心等等都只是“观点”，而不是“事实”。即便现在，谁又能断言那是“事实”？ facts（未经人类观察并诠释的)自身是truth吗？这留给哲学家们辩论了。

人类在真正找到上帝之前，很难有什么“事实”。

顿念一想，这宇宙间可能根本就没有什么“事实”，同意便成了“事实”，同意的人多了便成了“公认事实”。

换一个角度，有一个东西是容易判定的，且对此比较容易达成统一共识，那就是一个人是否true to himself/herself了。言无不衷也是一种truth。

NPR对口吐真言的封杀实质上是变相鼓励谎言，鼓励如疤马那样上台第二天就改口食言把两天前的信誓旦旦全抛进垃圾桶的现象再次反复在总统大选中出现。
