On one weekday night, in my office, the following conversation took place:
Child (11 years old boy): "What will be the weather tomorrow?"
Parent: "It will be fine. Just like today."
Child: "Can you check on yahoo?"
Parent: "I said it will be fine."
Child: "What if it rains tomorrow?"
Parent: "It won't. Trust me. Don't you trust me?"
Child: "You sit in an air-conditioned office all day. You don't need to know. But I walk home everyday."
Parent: "Why are you so unagreeable?"
Child: "I just want to know!"
Parent: "You never questioned your teacher."
Parent: "You are practically a teacher's pet."
The child stood there. stunned.
Child: "What, you can't handle curiosity?"
Parent: "Is there ever a time in summer, it actually rained?"
Child: "It's possible."
