就像很少做梦一样，老夫也很少被什么歌曲haunted。老夫神经很坚强啊。但是这首雷纳得的《告别亚历山德拉》是个例外！有好些天老夫每时都哼哼个不停。上厕所时也嘘嘘嘘吹着口哨。回家里边听边哼。最后家人都抗议了，说老夫嗡嗡的象念经，get on everyone's nerve! 这个瘾又过了几天才消失。
这首歌是雷纳得根据一百年前希腊诗人卡瓦非的一首诗《神离开了安东尼》而改写的。这个安东尼就是和埃及艳后克里奥巴特拉发生婚外恋的马克安东尼啦。这首诗讲的是安东尼兵败亚历山得里亚的事。它是这么倾述的：夜幕来临，你的守护神也将离开你了。不要哀叹，不要自欺！和你亲爱的亚历山得里亚城就此告别吧。等等等等。到了雷纳得那里，亚历山得里亚城变成了姑娘亚历山德拉，整个儿也变成了对逝去的爱情的挽歌。只是雷纳得老夫的文笔十分了得！在写这首歌的时候他已经快七十岁了，但他对性爱的描写是多么栩栩如生。老夫曾经读过毕加索年轻的情妇写的回忆录。七十岁的毕加索也同样贪恋着女性的躯体，他常常给小情人买点小礼物，“对能弥补年轻时没法做到的事感到沾沾自喜”。老毕实在太可爱了。咱们曹操就说过，“烈士暮年,壮心不已“；壮是壮阳的壮了！雄心勃勃，豪情万丈呀。相比之下，您要是每天喜欢抱着大肥皂睡觉的倒霉蛋，到了那年纪您就该操心得老年痴呆了。
雷纳得的英文太美了，老夫跃跃欲试斗胆把它译成中文。不是说老夫的中文有多好，而是花时间思忖着把它变成中文挺有乐趣的。这首歌的youtube做的也不错，只是有点儿少儿不宜。
