| 周六勉强让朋友拉去看《阿凡达》。以前看《泰坦尼克号》看得很倒胃，远不及老版《冰海沉船》，掺加奶酪罗曼丝（cheezy romance）只多一分嗝腻。 《阿凡达》再次证明卡梅隆只是一个高级工匠（expert craftsman），算不上艺术家 (artist)。他不过是亦步亦趋模仿工匠先辈卢卡斯、斯皮尔博格，进入电脑特技牢笼的又一只猴子，笼外机器人打出的标志说明：“这是我们的进化一链。” 我同意中国影评家高芾所说，卢卡斯、斯皮尔博格、卡梅隆“这一脉的导演，都是有立场没思想的技术流，”但其立场并不是高芾所阿谀的“人文精神”，而只是篝火余烬熏出的童子军妄自尊大的救世梦。成为电脑、机器人展耀的进化链标本遑论“人文精神”？ 除此之外，近三个小时的《阿凡达》没有给我什么更多感触，只能同意美国某影评家的评论：“Avatar does not have much of emotional or intellectual muscle. It’s about as a dmubest movie as what have come down the tube for a long time. Fancy dumb, but still way dumb, with mindless dialogue, endless pointless combats, and the basic operational principle that if your movie isn’t about anything at all, have the audience put on special glasses and maybe they will not notice there is nothing to see.” |
