deepocean：Day One in Beijing

In order to do my share to reduce CO2 footprint, I started exploring Beijing's public transportation system on my first full day here. Well, it is superior and cheap! 1 Yuan on an AC'ed bus, and 2 Yuan on the sub to anywhere? That is a steal! In addition, they throw in this additional service of X-ray-sterilizing your backpack before you enter a subway station, all for free! :-)

My 同种同族moment: pleasantly surprised by a small pack of 榨菜in the lunch box on a domestic flight to Beijing. Indeed, this will not happen anywhere else!

My idiot moment: I asked to buy 2 tickets on line 1 2 tickets on line 2 for a round trip to downtown Beijing, the lady inside the window stared at me,  and said "you just need to buy one", you idiot! Alright she implied the last part.

My senior moment: still waiting. No Beijing MM yielding a seat for me, or calling me 大叔大伯 yet. Come on, Beijng MM's, just the fact I am no Wall Street banker does not imply you don't need to show proper respect!
