They put so much pressure on that pastor. The U.S. commander, the Secretary of Defense, Endangering our troops is their reason for asking him to not to do it. But those people hate America with their guts. Burning the Koran or not doesn't make a difference. Appeasing them is really endangering our troops.

俺不意外疤马治下政府官员出面这么做，totally unacceptable. 2nd thought: 连 “白人建筑工不必申请”这种赤裸裸的种族牌都能堂皇打出来（历史倒退！），还有什么样的愚蠢能让你意外？

俺觉得你的标题有些问题，可能是俺第一念顿住要了解事情来龙去脉再投票的原因。俺坚决支持牧师以他选择的合法方式（当然包括焚烧古兰经）行驶他的自由表达宪法权，这一点是毫无质疑的。但你的标题“support burning of the Koran”不完全是这个意思。

Well, I was not talking about the right of burning the Koran, for which most people support because it is a form of expression. I meant the plan the Florida pastor proposed. For which most people would go against. So the right is one thing but to do it is another. Similarly, the right to build a mosque near ground zero should be supported because of religious tolerance. But the plan of building it there should not be supported in my opinion.

I don't know what purpose that pastor had in mind. I wouldn't have chosen to do it but the event showed how intolerant, insecure and inmature some Muslims are. America tolerated their buring of the flag and shouting &quot;Death to America&quot;. They go into convulsions when someone just mentions of buring their Koran.

the disparateness among different groups of humans is greater than that between pigs and dogs. on the other hand, we as human are just too hypocritical to acknowledge that.
