There's no evidence that Albert Einstein commented directly on Friedrich Nietzsche's work, but both were known for their original and creative thinking.
Explanation
Einstein believed that philosophical inquiry and scientific inquiry were both important for understanding nature. He thought that epistemology and science were dependent on each other.
Nietzsche was a philosopher who exposed what he saw as the hypocrisy of bourgeois values. He used original methods, such as tracing the evolution of words, to describe how "healthy" values become perverted during "civilization".
Einstein was known for his thought experiments, such as imagining riding a moving light wave at a constant speed. These experiments led to the foundation of modern physics. Nietzsche is said to have walked in nature for hours to make sense of his ideas. |
