What can I say?  <<Pride and Prejudice>>.

Mr. Darcy: How are you this evening, my dear?
Elizabeth Bennet: Very well. Only, I wish you would not call me "my dear."
Mr. Darcy: Why?
Elizabeth Bennet: Because it's what my father calls my mother whenever he's cross about something.
Mr. Darcy: Well, what endearments am I allowed?
Elizabeth Bennet: Well, let me think..."Lizzie" for everyday, "my pearl" for Sundays, and "Goddess Divine," but only on special occasions.
Mr. Darcy: And what am I to call you when I'm cross? "Mrs. Darcy?"
Elizabeth Bennet: No, you may only call me "Mrs. Darcy" when you are completely, perfectly and incandescently happy.
Mr. Darcy: And how are you this evening... Mrs. Darcy? Mrs. Darcy... Mrs. Darcy... Mrs. Darcy!
[kisses her]

Miss Bowers: It's more than likely, it has been my experience that men are least attracted to women who treat them well.

Col. Johnny Race: What are you thinking?
Hercule Poirot: I was thinking of Molière: 'La grande ambition des femmes est d'inspirer l'amour'.
Col. Johnny Race: [sighs] I wish you'd speak some *known* language...
Hercule Poirot: "The great ambition of women is to inspire love."

Mrs. Van Schuyler: Rules are made to be broken. At least *mine* are by *me*.

Guido: I thought my ideas were so clear. I wanted to make an honest film. No lies whatsoever. I thought I had something so simple to say. Something useful to everybody. A film that could help bury forever all those dead things we carry within ourselves. Instead, I'm the one without the courage to bury anything at all. When did I go wrong? I really have nothing to say, but I want to say it all the same.

================

Claudia: I don't understand. He meets a girl that can give him a new life and he pushes her away?
Guido: Because he no longer believes in it.
Claudia: Because he doesn't know how to love.
Guido: Because it isn't true that a woman can change a man.
Claudia: Because he doesn't know how to love.
Guido: And above all because I don't feel like telling another pile of lies.
Claudia: Because he doesn't know how to love.

Guido: [pretending to translate] The game starts now. You have to score one thousand points. If you do that, you take home a tank with a big gun. Each day we will announce the scores from that loudspeaker. The one who has the fewest points will have to wear a sign that says "Jackass" on his back. There are three ways to lose points. One, turning into a big crybaby. Two, telling us you want to see your mommy. Three, saying you're hungry and want something to eat.  Forget about it.  It's very easy to lose point for being hungry.  Just yesterday I was penalized 40 points because I was so hungry, I had to have a jam sandwich.   Apricot jam.  He wants strawberry.  And don't ask for any lollipops, because we eat them all.  I eat them twenty yesterday.  What a tommy ache...but they were good.  You bet.  I am sorry I have to leave, but I am playing hide and seek and have to go before  I get caught.

我也很喜欢这部<<LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL>>.

Dora: My husband and son are on that train. I want to get on that train. Did you hear me? I want to get on that train.

Giosué Orefice: [narrating as an adult] This is a simple story... but not an easy one to tell.

不知六耳兄看过一部2008年的影片<<THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PAJAMAS>>没有?

2003 <<COLD MOUNTAIN>>.

Inman: You are all that keeps me from sliding into some dark place.
Ada: But how did I keep you? We barely knew each other. A few moments.
Inman: A thousand moments. They're like a bag of tiny diamonds glittering in a black heart. Don't matter if they're real or things I made up. The shape of your neck, that's real. You were always carrying a tray.
Ada: You wouldn't come inside.
Inman: I wouldn't come inside.
Ada: I had to carry a tray to come out and see you.
Inman: The way you felt when I pulled you to me. That kiss- which I kissed again everyday of my walking.
Ada: Everyday of my waiting...

AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER>>.

Terry McKay: Winter must be cold for those with no warm memories... we've already missed the spring!

Nickie: There must be something between us, even if it's only an ocean.

Terry McKay: The Empire State Building is the closest thing to heaven in this city.

Terry McKay: What makes life so difficult?
Nickie Ferrante: People.

Sam (Tom Hanks): “It was a million tiny little things that, when you added them all up, they meant we were supposed to be together … and I knew it. I knew it the very first time I touched her. It was like coming home. .. only to no home I’d ever known … I was just taking her hand to help her out of a car and I knew. It was like … magic.”

Annie Reed: Destiny is something we've invented because we can't stand the fact that everything that happens is accidental.

Hub: Sometimes the things that may or may not be true are the things a man needs to believe in the most. That people are basically good; that honor, courage, and virtue mean everything; that power and money, money and power mean nothing; that good always triumphs over evil; and I want you to remember this, that love... true love never dies. You remember that, boy. You remember that. Doesn't matter if it's true or not. You see, a man should believe in those things, because those are the things worth believing in.

Mrs. Robinson: Benjamin.
Benjamin: Yes?
Mrs. Robinson: Isn't there something you want to tell me?
Benjamin: Tell you?
Mrs. Robinson: Yes.
Benjamin: Well, I want you to know how much I appreciate this. Really.
Mrs. Robinson: The number.
Benjamin: What?
Mrs. Robinson: The room number, Benjamin. I think you ought to tell me that.
Benjamin: Oh, you're absolutely right. It's 568.
Mrs. Robinson: Thank you.
Benjamin: You're welcome. Well... I'll see you later, Mrs. Robinson.
