Holiday party blue for forum people

This is an old topic. But this is the season again and I have been to a few parties and will go to a few more. As a forumite of this and other forums, I found the conversations in these parties too "小儿科" both in the level of wisdom and sense of humor compared to what I read on the forums. So I usually stay very quite in the party and even sometimes escape in a corner. I come alive only when the Karaoke section starts.

Do you have similar experience or feeling?

俺是完全相反，卡拉OK一响俺就飞逃。

乏味的聚会能免就免，否则就想法尽早开溜。不能亏待自己。

最简单的解决办法就是自己开Party，想干嘛干嘛。

Thank you, budcaudill! We have party everyday on the forum. There is no need to have a party just to talk. So a real party can be for: food, singing or sports.

爬梯多半是那么无奈无味。办公室的同事，天天见面，要说得都说了。小说（ｓｍａｌｌ　ｔａｌｋｓ）么，也就是那么些内容，说多了就让人乏味。咱也是没有太高的兴致说话。陌生人的爬梯就更是不知道该说什么了。

但有人就是爱说话，为了说而说。
