Anti Virus software for win 7

I have been using Norton as my major anti virus software.   My new laptop come with win 7 and Norton (only for 30 days).

Now, the Norton is expired.  I would like to buy one anti virus software, Norton or something else, and install several good free ones as additional protection, such as avast etc.

So what is your recommendation

I would use Microsoft Security Essentials.

Appears to be much faster than Norton. One of fewer applications Microsoft did clean and simple in my opinion. Free, and good reviews too. Do check out reviews before you use.

Download AVG free version. Works better than most commercial AV software.
